Don’t forget to identify other ancillary income, whether it be gifts or other income.  Once you do this basic math, you will find your actual cost of living, which serves as the ba seline.”As for the hard way, Menninger recounted how he would create an Excel spreadsheet listing out all his different expense categories, including mortgage, car payments and repairs, gas, food, clothing, insurance, utilities, etc. There was one last column, as well, marked “other.”“Let me tell you,” he said, “the ‘other’ column was second only to the mortgage, and represented discretionary spending. Using his receipts, checkbook, and credit card statements, Menninger regularly updated his spreadsheet. Cash tends to get frittered away.”Marchisello recommended that you “hang onto all receipts at least until the expense can be trackedâ€"and longer if its an item that might have to be returned.” She also said that you should keep your receipts from credit card transactions until they can be reconciled with your statement.Start making some tweaks.When it comes to creating more room in your budget, Marchisello observed that it’s “easier to reduce the going out than to augment the coming in but certainly look at both.” In other words: Its easier to spend less money than it is to earn more.Here was her recommended method for cutting back on expenses:“Divide expenses into four categories: absolutely necessary, necessary but reducible, discretionary, and totally unnecessary (like late fe es and excess interest). Why do you want a budget in the first place? This will be your north star and grounding force to keep coming back to.“Once you track actuals for a month, go through each line item and reduce the expenses where you dont feel you are getting an appropriate Return on Investment. Start with items like cable, phone, and insurance, as you can likely lower your bills with little change in your experience of the service.”Then set a planned amount to spend for each item.”During the month, you dont have to focus on scrimping on every item. Keep the estimates as general guides. Choose only three to five items where you have the most variability, choice, and usually the least longer term return on your dollars. These are your money leaks. Just like the rule of 80/20, these are the 20 percent (or even 5-10 percent) of the items causing 80+ percent of the issues with your budget each month. Focus on reducing and keeping those items in check.”“Once you determine what is an actual amount you can save each month, put it into a separate account to support your goal and check it each week and each month. If you were in dire need of a blood transfusion, would you care the sexual orientation of the person who donated the blood? Maybe if you were a homosexual male and your child was injured and needed blood, do you feel you should be able to donate? I personally believe that blood donations don’t have a sexual orientation. If my child was in need of blood, I should be able to donate my blood, or use the blood of anyone who donates blood, gay, straight or anything in-between. The fight against this ban on â€Å"gay blood† is quite controversial. The idea that lives could be saved if additional people were allowed to donate and are not allowed baffles me. There are many reasons why I believe the restriction on this are wrong. First off, the HIV / AIDS epidemic is over for the most part. People understand what HIV / AIDS is more so then they did in 1977 (Placeholder1). Next, â€Å"Gay blood† and â€Å"straight blood† as some people say are still both rigorously tested for diseases including HIV / AIDS (Blood Testing| American Red Cross pp. 1). Also, Males that have had sex with another male (MSM) anytime in their life can be banned from giving blood anywhere from no deferral in some countries to indefinite in most (Seed, Kiely and Law pp. 5). Life And Times Of Sir Isaac Newton Newton, Sir Isaac (1642-1727), mathematician and physicist, one of the foremost scientific intellects of all time. Born at Woolsthorpe, near Grantham in Lincolnshire, where he went to school, he began to attend Cambridge University in 1661; he was elected a Fellow of Trinity College in 1667, and a Lucasian mathematics professor in 1669. He stayed at the university, lecturing most of the years, until 1696. During these Cambridge years, in which Newton was at the top of his creative power, he singled out 1665-1666 as the prime of his age for invention. During two to three years of intense mental effort he prepared Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy) known mostly as the Principia, though it was not put into print until 1687. As a firm opponent of the attempt by King James II to make the universities into Catholic institutions, Newton was elected Member of Parliament for the University of Cambridge to the Convention Parliament of 1689, and was also re-elected again in 1701-1702. Meanwhile, in 1696 he had moved to London as Warden of the Royal Mint. He became Master of the Mint in 1699, an office he held to his death. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of London in 1671, and in 1703 he became President of the society, being annually re-elected for the rest of his life. His major work Opticks, appeared the next year; he was knighted in Cambridge in 1705. As Newtonian science became increasingly accepted on the Continent, and especially after a general peace was restored in 1714, following the War of the Spanish Succession, Newton became the most highly esteemed philosopher in Europe. His last decades were passed in revising his major works, polishing his studies of ancient history, and defending himself against critics, as well as carrying out his official duties. Newton was modest, reserved, and a man of simple tastes. He was upset by criticism or opposition, and hated resentment; he was harsh towards enemies but nice to friends. Newton has been considered for almost 300 years as the founding philsospher of modern physical science, his achievements in experimental investigation as good as those in mathematical research. He found white light to be a mixture of infinitely varied colored rays (shown in the rainbow and the spectrum), each ray identified by the angle through which it is refracted on entering or leaving a given transparent medium. He correlated this notion with his study of the interference colors of thin films , using a simple technique of extreme acuity to measure the thickness of such films. He held that light consisted of streams of minute particles. From his experiments he could conclude the magnitudes of the transparent cor puscles forming the surfaces of bodies, which, according to their dimensions, so interacted with white light as to reflect, selectively, the different observed colors of those surfaces. The roots of these unconventional ideas were with Newton by about 1668; when first expressed in public in 1672 and 1675, they brought on hostile criticism, mainly because colors were thought to be changed forms of homogeneous white light. Doubts, and Newton's answers, were printed in the learned journals. Notably, the scepticism of Christiaan Huygens and the failure of the French physicist Edme' Mariotte to copy Newton's refraction experiments in 1681 set scientists on the Continent against him for a years. The figurative speech causes the reader to seek the elusive youth and boyhood days of the character and encourages the reader to mourn and celebrate with the writer for the once glorious days of his youth. From the opening line, the memories of boyhood days are revealed. The writer recalls his carefree life. A beautiful playground, a wooded valley full of apple orchards and fresh green meadows, which bring the boy great happiness, happy as the grass was green, can be visualized. Each line is full of boyhood memories. The boy, as many young innocent boys do, pretends many things in his playground, his cloistered world. It is his golden time, his heyday to be young and carefree, to pretend to be prince of the apple towns. There is a sense of such joy in this time in his life; he sings, happily in his home on the farm. And yet amidst this joyful memory, is a sense of sadness as we realize youth and innocence does not last. This reality and sadness begins to become mingled with the joyful memory as we read, in the sun that is young once only, time let me play and be golden in the mercy of his means. Blended with this awareness of reality, more boyhood memories are offered; memories of pretending to behuntsman and herdsman. All our senses are beckoned into the pleasures of this joyful time in the boys life, we are invited to hear the sounds of the calves singing and the foxes barking clearly and coldly, as he plays his horn. We are welcomed to sense the lovely calmness of sabbath days that seem to be slow and quiet as a babbling brook. We are encouraged to visualize the hay fields, as high as the house; to hear the sounds of the wind whistling through the chimneys. We are swept away into our own memories of childhood bedtime, as we are beckoned to hear the valley's sounds, owls, nightjars, and horses prancing in the corral in the dark. A sense of peace and awe is evoked as the writer remembers awaking each morning to the sight of the farm, the meadow white with dew, the sounds of the rooster crowing, the horses whinnying as they walked out of the stables on to the warm, sunny fields. Then the poem brings us back to the present reality; the young and carefree believe they will live forever, that life will always be this carefree; Under the new made clouds and happy as the heart was long, in the sun born over and over, I ran my heedless ways. The reality of life is that life is all too short, that the joy and innocence of youth is all too brief; Nothing I cared, in the lamb white days, that time would take me up to the swallow thronged loft by the shadow of my hand, in the moon that is always rising, nor that riding to sleep I should hear him fly with the high fields and wake to the farm forever fled from the childless land. The last three lines of the poem bring us to the poignant reality of the joys and sadness of life, Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means, time held me green and dying though I sang in my chains like the sea. All good things must come to an end, and when they do you will look back on the times that you had and wish that it was that way forever. To conclude, this poem helps us to appreciate both the joys and the sadness of life. It is in the remembering that we can cherish the joys of what was; it is in the same memories we can be sad for that which is no more, and it is in knowing both, that we realize that we can live life to the fullest. Vitale case, Black wrote that the Establishment clause is violated regardless of whether there is any â€Å"showing of direct government compulsion...whether those laws operate directly to coerce non-observing individuals or not.† Black pointed out that the decision showed great respect for religion, not hostility: It is neither sacrilegious nor antireligious to say that each separate government in this country should stay out of the business of writing or sanctioning official prayers and leave that purely religious function to the people themselves and to those the people choose to look to for religious guidance. The module in English language, particularly in writing is needed to help the users enhance and improve their writing skills. 2. The proposed module in English language on the area of writing was much acceptable and ready for use by the fourth year high school students of CICOSAT COLLEGES-Basic Education and; 3. The proposed module was made to supplement the needs of the grade seven high school students of CICOSAT COLLEGES-Basic Education, Lingsat, City of San Fernando, La Union and; In order that the proposed module in English Language (writing) the grade seven high school students of CICOSAT COLLEGES-Basic Education, Lingsat, City of San Fernando, La Union to be fully functional or to serve its intended purpose, the following are  suggested/recommended: 1. In fact, my parents never provided me with the â€Å"sex† talk and I learned about sex through school, television, and the imaginary world of books. When I learned Columbia offered a Human Sexuality course, I jumped at the opportunity to take the class. I not only wanted to open my mind to sexuality and the topics of sex, but I also wanted to be able to speak freely about sex. Having a significant other in my life has pushed and allowed me to talk about sex, but I still am an extremely private person. In fact, I rarely discuss sexual intercourse with my friends, I am not a fan of public displays of affection, and I have a hard time walking into a store and buying condoms.
